Terms of use

What GraphIQ is, what it does not promise, and the law that applies.

Last updated 14 September 2026

What this is

MSRX GraphIQ is a free, browser-based data visualization studio. There is no account, no fee and no subscription.

Using it means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use it.

Who you are agreeing with

MSRX GraphIQ is operated by Mrinal Singh Raja, an individual, publishing under the name "MSRX". MSRX is a brand name, not a registered company, and nothing here should be read as implying a company behind it.

In these terms "we", "us", "our" and "MSRX" mean Mrinal Singh Raja. "You" means the person using MSRX GraphIQ. Written notice reaches us at mrinalsinghraja@gmail.com.

What leaves your machine, and what does not

Two things happen in this app and they have completely different privacy properties.

Loading a spreadsheet, profiling it, editing cells and drawing every chart happens entirely inside your browser. The file is read by JavaScript on your own device. It is not uploaded, so there is no copy of it anywhere for us to keep, lose, or be compelled to hand over. You can disconnect from the network and the studio still works.

The AI analyst is the exception. When you ask it a question, we send the shape of your data — column names, their types, summary statistics, the data health report, correlation pairs — together with a small sample of rows, to our server, which forwards it to Groq to produce the answer. Column names and sample rows can contain real values from your file.

If your data is confidential, that matters. Everything except the AI analyst works without sending anything anywhere, so the studio remains fully usable if you never open the analyst.

Your data stays yours

We claim no rights over anything you load into the studio or export from it. For everything except the AI analyst we could not in any case, because the file never reaches us.

You are responsible for having the right to process the data you load — that you are permitted to analyse it, and, if you use the AI analyst, permitted to send a sample of it to a third-party processor.

Anything the analyst says can be wrong

The AI analyst is a large language model. It reads the summary of your data, not the whole of it, and it writes text that reads as confident whether or not it is correct. It misreads magnitudes, asserts trends that the sample does not support, and explains a spurious correlation as fluently as a real one.

Treat its output as a first reading to check, never a finding to publish. Correlation in a profile is not causation in the world, and no statement it makes has been verified against your full dataset.

What you may not do

  • Use MSRX GraphIQ for anything unlawful, or to infringe somebody else's rights.
  • Load or send personal data you have no lawful basis to process.
  • Attempt to break, overload, probe or circumvent any limit, security control or rate limit.
  • Use automated means to extract content at scale, or resell access to the service.
  • Present output from the analyst as reviewed, verified or endorsed by us.

Availability

The AI analyst runs on a free upstream quota shared by everyone using the site. It rate-limits and sometimes fails. The service is provided with no guarantee that it will be available or uninterrupted, and it may change or stop at any time.

Because your projects live on your own device, nothing needs exporting before it does.

No warranty, and the limit of what we owe

To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, nor for lost profits, lost data, lost opportunity, or any decision taken on the basis of a chart or an analysis, arising from your use of MSRX GraphIQ.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability for all claims is limited to one thousand Indian rupees (₹1,000). Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded under Indian law.

Keep your own copies. A .graphiq project lives on your device and nowhere else, and we cannot recover one for you because we never had it.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them.

If you use the service as a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove rights your local law gives you that cannot be removed by agreement. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

Changes

Material changes move the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after that means accepting the revised terms.
